Aviator Cap & Goggles – Pilot Costume Synthetic Leather

Set includes both the Aviators Cap and the Goggles!

At the turn of the 20th century, the Wright Brothers had invented the first heavier-than-air, sustained, powered flight machine. As planes developed, pilots and aviators needed something to keep their heads warm from the passing cold air in the cockpit. The aviators eyes also needed to be protected from wind, smoke, & debris.

Hand sewn from simulated brown leather with detailed texturing, this set will give authority to your costume. It is often seen in Steampunk themed styling, Edwardian, and Victorian type of fantasy themes too.

The strap is adjustable with velcro and has a steel flat ring that is finished in antiqued brass coloring for an authentic look. The goggles are adjustable with rubberized strap and fit close to the face, similar to swimmers goggles. Size is designed for average adult sized heads.

Each cap is constructed of synthetic or simulated leather materials (pleather-like) and made completely by hand. Intended use is for display purposes, costume, or cosplay.
